Wide-Eyed Babies

This quilt was finished on Friday night.  It's so happy and cute.

The close-up shows the colours more realistically

The backing is a Jane Sassaman print fabric - so lovely and soft.

My other partner in the Bronwyn Hayes/Red Brolly swap was Dawnie.  I made her the Petal Blossom Bag from the "Flowerbed" book.

It was a great swap - so many beautiful gifts flying across the country.

I've finally started quilting Michael and Peta's engagement quilt - it's been on the frame for over 2 weeks and now 2 borders and binding to go - can't rush these things (the wedding is in 13 days).  Would be nice to have it finished in time for the hens day (next Saturday) - fingers crossed.
